Charitable Giving

Following the extraordinary success of the Nasty Women exhibition, which raised over $42,000 for Planned Parenthood (with $35,000 raised in a single night!) I am so pleased to finally launch the Charitable Giving initiative that I envisioned when I first started my business.

I will donate a portion of the sale price of select pieces to relevant charitable organizations that reflect the core values of my studio. You can read a bit more about the project here.

I am beginning with prints of the 2015 painting, It Felt Like Home, which has particular significance for me as it came out of humanitarian concerns and a need to see more compassion in the world. 25% of the sale price of these prints will be donated to the International Rescue Committee, which provides much-needed humanitarian aid in crises and helps displaced refugees resettle, and to the ACLU Foundation, which fights to protect civil liberties for all Americans.

I have also added prints of the painting I created for Nasty Women, Lithe, with 25% of the sale price donated to Planned Parenthood.

It is my sincerest hope that, though relatively small, these donations will use art to make a difference in the world. I will continue to add more pieces to this project, which you can find through the Charitable Giving tag in the Shop.
